With our solution doks.gate, scanning, measuring, and documentation processes in inbound and outbound areas can be fully automated. Users gain maximum transparency into all material movements, know the exact throughput quantities and times, and have access to complete photo documentation for every transport – including automatic capture of length, width, height, and volume while passing through at up to 10 km/h. doks.gate integrates seamlessly into existing structures and requires no manual intervention. By replacing manual scans, intralogistics processes can be noticeably accelerated and executed far more efficiently.

The success of the gates lies in the interplay of hardware and software components, individually adapted to each deployment site. Essentially, every doks.gate is an archway or a column, equipped with cameras and LED lights. Light barriers are integrated into the gates, detecting every material movement and triggering data capture. It makes no difference whether forklifts, pallet trucks, conveyors, or automated warehouse vehicles are used in the facility.

The installed cameras take images from different angles and positions after receiving the light barrier signal. From the generated image data, the doks.gate software extracts the relevant information. For example, numerous details can be machine-read directly from labels. Particularly important here are the article number or pallet ID, which allow a dataset to be uniquely assigned.

In the event of damage or general uncertainties about a transported object, these image data make it possible to clearly verify the condition of the goods as they passed through the gate. By integrating additional sensors, precise dimensions, volumes, or temperatures can also be recorded and documented. All datasets are accessible via a digital user interface and can be exported into existing IT and warehouse management systems.
